Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Pansion Zaharoula, I found it to be a great blend of value and comfort, making it a smart choice for families like mine who appreciate the outdoors. Tucked away from the bustling center of Fira, it offered a peaceful haven without disconnecting us from local attractions. Our spacious room was well-maintained, featuring air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom had great water pressure, which is essential after a long day of exploring. A highlight for us was the opportunity to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by Andreas's lovely garden furniture-creating a serene start to our busy days. Irene and Andreas were truly hospitable, always willing to assist with helpful local insights and making arrangements like motorcycle rentals. The property is a short walk from Fira, making it convenient yet quiet. A few mini-markets nearby made grabbing essentials easy. Considering the amenities and the welcoming atmosphere, I would confidently recommend Pansion Zaharoula as a balanced option for anyone seeking luxury without breaking the bank. It's definitely a place I would revisit during future trips to Santorini!
